Além disso, a Lei nº 13.491/17, utilizada pelo Comandante-Geral da PMPI, manteve, em seu art. 9º, § 1º, a competência do Tribunal Popular do Júri para julgar os crimes dolosos contra a vida cometidos por militares contra civil, excluindo dessa competência apenas os militares das Forças Armadas em situações específicas.</span></em></p>

Para que haja essa investigação imparcial, quem deve conduzi-la é a Polícia Civil e não a Polícia Militar”, garantiu.</span></em></p>
